Lieutenant Colonel David Phillips is a retired Salvation Army Officer, residing in Hadleigh, Essex, where he attends the Hadleigh Temple Corps.
He has served 43 years as an officer in various UK appointment, including being a Corps Officer for 15 years, Divisional Youth Secretary for 6 years, Divisional Secretary for 1 year, National Youth Secretary for 5 years and Divisional Commander for 17 years.
Now an active Local Officer in Hadleigh Corps as Secretary of the Over 50's club called the Silver Service, and also a member of the band and songsters.

Brass banding, reading, gardening, golf (I play weekly to keep fit and young!).

I enjoy being a member of The Household Troops Band, it is a unique experience.

MOST MEMORABLE TROOPER MOMENT:
There are many but a visit to Sheringham, in Norfolk was special as I lived there when I was a youngster and our visit brought back so many memories.
